Emma’s Café is an upscale café serving breakfast, lunch and catered events. We are looking for a Barista/Cashier to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to guest satisfaction with a focus on quality and cleanliness as top priorities. We currently have a full time or part time week day position available. Hours are generally Monday-Friday 9am-3pm
The Barista/Cashier is responsible for performing Barista duties, i.e.: preparing hot and cold drinks. Operates cash register and maintains cleanliness of work area. Maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepares coffee drinks as ordered by customers
- Restocks supplies needed for coffee area
- Maintains sanitary conditions in work area and follows cleaning guidelines
- Operates, cleans and maintains all equipment
- Performs cashier duties, takes guest orders
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Some hospitality experience is preferred, but we will offer training to the right candidate.
